Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the sensor data platform powering its autonomous last-mile delivery fleet. You will process petabyte-scale data from LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, and control signals across every mission.

You will collaborate with ML teams, analytics, and diagnostics to enable scalable data infrastructure, emphasis on data governance, security, and multi-tenant access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop data infrastructure for sensor data platform at scale.
• Architect and develop a sensor data platform processing petabyte-scale data.
• Collaborate with 15+ downstream teams across ML, analytics and diagnostics.
• Contribute to data governance and multi-tenancy with secure access control.
