Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls team in Corporate Technology. You will be a core technical contributor, delivering secure software, leading resiliency reviews, and guiding reliability initiatives across multiple business domains.

You will design and implement high-quality production code, automate remediation, and drive scalable, secure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Proven reliability, scalability, security, and enterprise architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and advanced technical troubleshooting.
• Develop secure production code, review and debug code, and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead resiliency design reviews, break down complex problems, and act as the main contact during major incidents.
• Lead efforts to improve reliability, stability, and performance using data-driven analytics.
• Drive collaboration to define service level indicators and error budgets with stakeholders.
• Provide high-level technical expertise across domains and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Document and share knowledge through internal forums and communities of practice.
