Job summary
Red Alpha is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable software for a mission-critical program. You will lead development of an AWS-based full-stack application to modernize storage and management of encryption keys, using Java and Python for the backend and ReactJS for the frontend.
As a technical leader, you will guide engineering teams, collaborate with customer stakeholders, and implement encryption key management solutions.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Java development experience.
- 8+ years experience with modern development practices.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of an AWS-based full-stack application for encryption key management.
- Design and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and coordinate with customer stakeholders.
- Support mission-critical operations, including potential 24/7 coverage with pay differential.
