Red Alpha is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to support federal missions by deploying models in secure environments and building scalable, production-ready pipelines. The role emphasizes AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, Python, and ML frameworks, with a focus on air-gapped deployments and GovCloud/C2S familiarity.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in software engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Heavy data science, AI and LLM experience.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock and related services.
• End-to-end model lifecycle management in AWS.
• Deployment of LLMs in secured, air gapped MD customer environments.
• Data preprocessing and secure pipeline automation.
• Advanced Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or C2S infrastructure.
• 5+ years of solid software engineering experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.
