Job summary
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in Coppell, TX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and support software systems and applications across the firm. You will work with business partners, architects, and product teams to deliver robust solutions and ensure performance and reliability.
This role demands hands-on coding with Java and Spring, strong SQL capabilities, and experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s with 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Java and shell scripting; familiarity with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Experience with REST APIs and Oracle SQL / PLSQL; production support experience is a plus.
- Experience with batch processing and enterprise financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications.
- Ensure designs satisfy functional requirements with the Business System Analyst.
- Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy hosting environments.
- Tune application performance and resolve issues.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions in line with DTCC standards.
- Integrate risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities.
