Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in New Jersey is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable applications within the RDS Delivery Team. You will contribute to the GTR platform, work in an Agile squad, and collaborate with regional teams and CoE to meet regulatory and client requirements.

The role emphasizes development, testing, and documentation, with production support and ongoing design reviews. A hybrid work model is offered with on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of exp in Java, Spring, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, AWS, EC2, S3, UNIX.
• Exposure to Amazon Q and Amazon Kiro.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.
• Contribute to the design of components or individual programs.
• Provide production support for applications as needed.
• Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications.
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs.
• Work with peers to mature ways of working, CI/CD.
