Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano seeks a Lead Software Engineer to lead and contribute to trusted, scalable technology products within Consumer & Community Banking. You will design, develop, and secure production-quality software while aligning with enterprise AI and observability practices.

You will work in an agile team, drive system design, code reviews, and automation, and mentor engineers to improve delivery speed and quality across multi-environment deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied experience in software engineering.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in Java and Python.
• Hands-on with AWS and cloud platform services (ECS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Glue).
• Experience with SRE and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog).
• Solid SQL skills with Oracle/DB2/Aurora Postgres.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience in large corporate environments with multiple programming languages.
