JPMorganChase in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and operate critical technology solutions aligned to our business objectives. You will contribute to production code while mentoring others and elevating engineering standards.

Apply creative design approaches, develop secure, high-quality production code, and drive enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, delivery speed, and resilience across our systems.

Qualifikationen

• Formal software engineering training and 5+ years of applied engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven design and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building cloud-native apps with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proven delivery of at least two large, complex applications end to end.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and test-driven delivery in Agile teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency and security expectations.
• Advanced knowledge of resiliency and security principles, plus API documentation with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and productivity tools like Copilot.
• Experience designing high-availability architectures and driving process improvements.

• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and credibility.
• Promote consistent validation standards: secure coding, peer review, automated testing, pattern reuse.
