Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within Asset and Wealth Management Advisor & Investment Technology. You will design, build, and operate critical technology solutions, contribute production code, and raise engineering standards through mentoring and reviews.

You will drive reliability, security, and operational excellence across the software lifecycle, and guide the team in adopting enterprise‑approved AI assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST, event‑driven design, and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience building cloud‑native applications and services on AWS or similar.
• Delivered at least two large, complex applications end‑to‑end.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and test‑driven agile delivery.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools with secure, responsible practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting to solve problems.
• Develops secure, high‑quality production code and reviews peers' work.
• Leads enterprise‑level AI‑assisted engineering adoption for code quality and speed.
• Utilizes SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value.
• Identifies recurring issues and drives remediation for stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture.
