Job summary

Charles Schwab in Southlake, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead liquidity and funding technology initiatives, modernize platforms, and build cloud-based data solutions that support regulatory reporting and funding operations.

You will stay hands-on with coding, mentor engineers, collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams, and help drive modernization while ensuring reliability and resilience across the firm's tech stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software.
• .NET 8+ and OO programming principles.
• Experience building scalable apps, services, APIs, and data integration.
• CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Docker, Kubernetes or container tech.
• Relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• BigQuery or comparable data warehouses.
• Cloud-native services in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Software design principles and modern development practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Understanding of Generative AI tools to improve productivity.
• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years hands-on software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for liquidity and funding tech applications.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Provide technical direction to the development team on new initiatives.
• Remain hands-on with coding, analysis, validation, and delivery.
• Support existing apps while contributing to modernization.
• Work with large-scale data processing and analytics for liquidity reporting.
