Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with expert level Java proficiency.
• Spring Boot and microservices experience; API-focused design and idempotency.
• Python-based microservices development experience.
• Strong knowledge of resiliency engineering and disaster recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).
• Secure SDLC expertise: threat modeling, SAST/DAST, dependency risk management, secrets handling, encryption standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance across teams; act as domain SME in resiliency and recovery observability.
• Own end-to-end architecture for critical Java services; define boundaries, API contracts, event schemas, and standards; steward architectural decisions.
• Design, develop, and review secure, production-grade Java code; mentor engineers through code reviews.
• Promote AI-assisted software development tools with responsible use and validation practices.
• Build and orchestrate AI capabilities to automate actions within enterprise SAP processes.
• Drive resilient service design including availability and latency budgets; manage SLOs.
