Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an API-focused engineering lead in Alabama to design and implement scalable RESTful services. You will guide a team of mid-level to senior developers, enforce API standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across product and DevOps.

You will own API contracts, documentation, and security implementation while optimizing performance and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in API development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven ability to build RESTful APIs and define API contracts.
• Knowledge of API security and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with microservices and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
