Job description

This role requires a hands-on Java Full Stack Engineer working in an Agile environment to design, develop, and maintain scalable technical solutions. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality microservices and APIs, supporting business needs in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of Agile SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems
• Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Collaborate with engineering leads and cross-functional teams
• Work on event-driven architecture using Kafka and AWS services
• Develop and deploy applications using containerized and serverless architectures
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth production deployments
• Perform unit testing and ensure code quality using testing frameworks
• Interpret business requirements and deliver technical solutions accordingly

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot (3+ years)
• Experience building RESTful APIs in microservices architecture
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka for event‑driven systems
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/CDK)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
