Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering infrastructure and system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, including Infrastructure as Code, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develop secure and high-quality infrastructure patterns in Red Hat Linux space.
• Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and reliability.
• Apply SDLC tools to improve automation value and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation for better operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
