JPMorgan Chase in Jersey City is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to advance market-leading technology products with a secure, scalable approach. You will contribute technically across multiple areas, mentor teams, and drive AI-assisted development practices within an agile environment.

You will apply core Java expertise, modern web tech (Node/React), and cloud-native patterns to build reliable, high-performance solutions supporting the firm's objectives.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• 8+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Expertise in core Java, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with Kafka, MongoDB and Redis.
• Proficiency with Node.js and ReactJS frontend technologies.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with awareness of validation and security.
• Strong understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and Generative AI exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting.
• Delivers secure, high-quality production code and code reviews.
• Leads adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Utilizes SDLC tools including AI-assisted development and automation.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
