You will own end-to-end delivery across full-stack engineering and DevOps practices, drive technical direction, and reduce operational risk through automation and resilient design. Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience in Java.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages; strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong experience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript with design systems.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, release management, and reliability.
Experience applying SRE and reliability engineering practices including observability and incident response.
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies, including resiliency and security fundamentals.
Experience designing and operating APIs and integration patterns (REST, event-driven).
Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices.
Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance and security.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting; solves complex problems beyond routine approaches.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
Applies SDLC tools and automation capabilities to improve value and efficiency.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve operational stability of software applications.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and fit within information architecture.
Guides the team in secure coding, testing, and validation standards and promotes reuse of patterns.
Supports API design and integration strategy including REST and event-driven patterns.
