Job summary

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. in Newark, DE is seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to design and implement system software for a robotic diagnostic sample management system that interfaces with Siemens medical instruments and analyzers.

You will develop algorithms and complex software to process data from robot sensors, bar-code scanners, user input, and LIS/LAS into actions that control the Sample Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
• 8 years of experience in software development or related occupation.
• Experience with C#, .NET, and MS Windows environments.
• Proven ability to design multi-threaded applications and interprocess communication.
• Experience with WCF, messaging, and fault-tolerant high-availability systems.
• Strong debugging skills with Windbg/VS debugger.

Responsibilities

• Integrate multi-threaded, multi-process components into MS-Windows environments.
• Lead a team of software engineers through design, architecture and milestones.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve complex system-level problems.
• Minimum travel up to 10%.
