M&T Bank Corporation in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive modernization of the Enterprise Messaging Hub. You will provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure Java Spring Boot applications and RESTful microservices running on Linux.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing API strategies, leading design reviews, and mentoring engineers to improve resiliency and code quality across platforms

Qualificações

• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Linux command line experience and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with Git and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade Java applications and REST APIs.
• Lead design reviews and guide complex engineering decisions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.
• Mentor engineers and promote code quality and resiliency.
• Partner with architects to define API and integration strategies across platforms.
