Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with Test Solutions to design, develop and maintain software for on-site factory support of weapon system products. You will build applications and drivers using C#, C++, and Visual Studio in Windows, collaborating with multidiscipline teams.

Requirements include a STEM degree with 8+ years or an advanced degree with 5+ years, experience in C++, C#, Java, Python, and Windows OS. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
Experience in developing software using C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
Experience with IDEs and debugging tools; Windows OS and Visual Studio required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software in C#, C++ in Visual Studio on Windows.
Prioritize multiple software tasks and troubleshoot software and test equipment.
Work in a multidiscipline engineering team and derive software requirements.
Develop system level applications to support weapon system products.
Lead and mentor junior software engineers.
