RTX in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Test Solution to design, develop, and integrate Windows-based software for on-site manufacturing support. You will build applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using C, C#, C++, within Visual Studio and a .NET framework.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team, define software requirements, and troubleshoot equipment. The role requires a bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 3+

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Five years’ experience developing and integrating software applications using C, C#, C++ programming languages in a .NET framework, as well as Java, Python or Visual Basic.
• Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C, C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio in a Windows Operating System (OS)
• Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently
• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation
• Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment
• Develop and derive requirements for software products
