As a senior engineer, you will design and operate Java/Spring Boot services, drive microservices, and champion AI-assisted engineering practices, aligned with enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience delivering production services in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and delivering microservices-based solutions and distributed systems.
• Experience operating workloads on AWS in a security-conscious environment.
• Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure production code and reviews code written by others.
• Designs, builds, and maintains Java-based services using Spring Boot with scalable API contracts.
• Develops and operates microservices with resiliency patterns and observability.
• Builds, deploys, and supports cloud-native solutions on AWS with reliability.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validated standards and reusable patterns.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation.
