Job summary

ARCHER is seeking a Lead software engineer to transform the Athena Core Platform into a resilient, scalable cloud architecture. You will coordinate technical strategy with partner teams and global engineers, drive automation, and improve stability.

You will promote engineering practices, guide adoption of AI-assisted development tools, and ensure secure, compliant delivery. The role demands 5+ years of experience, deep knowledge of Python/Java, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Terraform, and cloud-native

Qualifications

Requires at least five years of applied software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python or Java.
Practical experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native systems, load balancing, service orchestration, and Terraform.
Understanding of CI/CD, resiliency, and security; able to lead safe, compliant use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Large-scale AWS EKS experience is preferred.
