Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive application modernization and service/API extraction. You will guide architecture decisions, code reviews, and ensure secure, scalable integrations across C#/.NET, Angular, and SQL Server environments.

You will lead efforts to stabilize legacy systems, design robust API contracts, and mentor engineers while delivering reliable, maintainable software on Azure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on with C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET.
• Experience building enterprise web apps with Angular.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures and optimization.
• Proven experience stabilizing and refactoring enterprise apps.
• Experience extracting services from monoliths and designing APIs.
• Understanding of secure service communication, auth, and data protection.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Azure deployment.
• Design patterns, testing, debugging, and Git mastery.
• Ability to lead design discussions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise apps using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Stabilize legacy codebases addressing technical debt and performance.
• Design and implement service/API extraction to decouple legacy systems.
• Design secure integrations between platforms and external systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and data access layers.
• Lead integration using TypeScript/Node.js and modern APIs.
• Design service-to-service communication with gRPC/Protobuf.
• Build and maintain PostgreSQL-backed integrations.
• Deploy, integrate, and support services on Azure.
• Define API contracts, integration patterns, and security standards.
• Drive root-cause analysis for complex issues and deliver resolutions.
• Lead architecture discussions, reviews, and establish coding standards.
