Job summary

Emory University’s ENBRC seeks a Lead Software Engineer to guide a three-person team in designing, developing, and modernizing custom applications for biomedical research, animal resource management, and business operations. You will translate requirements into scalable solutions, oversee full SDLC, and collaborate with researchers, veterinarians, and admins to deliver impactful software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Master’s preferred.
• Experience leading small software development teams and mentoring engineers.

• Ability to review unfamiliar codebases and present enhancement recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and release management practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern software architecture.
