Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join a dynamic team building the next generation ONESOURCE Global Trade SaaS suite. You will mentor across the stack, drive design decisions, and lead end‑to‑end software delivery for enterprise customers.

The role requires 5+ years in Global Trade software, 10+ years in software development, and strong expertise in .NET, Angular, REST APIs, and cloud-native delivery. Hybrid work model and robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Global Trade software development (logistics, customs, supply chain).
• 10+ years overall software development across multiple languages.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#, VB.NET) and Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs and API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with observability tools (DataDog).
• Cloud-native development in AWS and/or GCP.
• Hands-on with agentic AI-First development tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications with a distributed team using best practices.
• Design and build complex SaaS systems with mastery of software development methodologies.
• Drive design decisions including platform selection and coding standards.
• Contribute across Agile processes: design, coding, testing, QA, and implementation.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
