Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on design, development, testing, and operational stability across SDLC.
• Advanced in Java programming.
• Experience with databases like Amazon Aurora or Postgres, including queries and performance tuning.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools and setting validation standards.
• Understanding of responsible AI and secure handling of data in engineering workflows.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD and application resiliency and security.
• Knowledge of financial services IT environments and cloud-native AWS workloads.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' work.
• Drives enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and establishes validation standards.
• Applies SDLC tooling knowledge to improve automation and value.
• Identifies and automates recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads architecture evaluation sessions and aligns designs with information architecture.
