Job summary

JPMorganChase's Corporate Sector Enterprise Technology team seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, deliver, and secure scalable tech products. You will lead an agile team, drive AI-assisted development, and promote best practices across the SDLC in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

You will contribute to architecture, code quality, and operational stability while collaborating with multiple business functions to support firm objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied software engineering experience.
• 10+ years software development experience.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with code review, testing & security.
• Strong responsible AI usage and secure delivery practices.
• Strong Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, RabbitMQ, Kafka & Microservices knowledge.
• Experience with Git and Jira/ServiceNow.
• Hands-on delivery across design, development, testing & operations.
• Proficiency in automation, CD/CI and SDLC.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Oracle relational database experience.
• Exposure to Cloud/AI/ML tech.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and outcomes.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation value.
