Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and stability.
• Proficient in Java, GoLang, or equivalent modern languages with practical coding ability.
• Experience with DevOps and SRE principles to improve reliability and delivery.
• Strong experience in Private or Public cloud environments and cloud thinking.
• Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and API exposure and usage.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with governance.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling guidance.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methods including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' work.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to enhance value and efficiency.
