Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience with cloud, AI/ML, or related tech within financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and performs code reviews.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Sets strategy for AI-enabled engineering to improve delivery speed and code quality while ensuring guardrails.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve value of automation at scale.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and credentials.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Contributes to team culture of diversity and inclusion.
