JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Commercial & Investment Banking Post Trade Technology team. You will drive development of secure, scalable software and lead critical design, coding, and testing efforts.

You will mentor engineers, champion AI-assisted development practices, and ensure resilient, compliant delivery across cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, MQ, Kafka, REST, gRPC, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools with focus on correctness, performance and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency and security.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsabilidades

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting for novel problems.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code; reviews and debugs code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operations.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability of applications.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams on architectural designs and applicability.
