Job summary

THR Partners is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for full-remote work in the United States. You will provide technical leadership across core subsystems for a simulation software platform, guide architectural decisions, and champion modern engineering practices.

You will lead the delivery of complex features while safeguarding the long-term health of the codebase, operating with autonomy and domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of desktop software development experience.
• MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
• Proficiency in modern C (C14 or later).
• Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
• Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (XML, JSON).
