Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across core subsystems of our simulation software platform. You will guide architectural decisions, champion modern engineering practices, and lead the delivery of complex features while safeguarding the long-term health of the codebase.

You will operate with significant autonomy and act as a trusted expert in your domain, shaping the platform’s direction and mentoring peers in a fast-paced remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of desktop software development experience.
• Knowledge of MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
• Proficiency in C (C14 or later).
• Experience with Windows applications and Visual Studio 2019+.
• Familiarity with MFC for Windows UI development.
• Experience with XML or JSON serialization formats.

Requirements:
