Job summary

Aquaneer Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the core subsystems of our simulation software platform. You will guide architectural decisions, champion modern engineering practices, and lead the delivery of complex features while safeguarding the long-term health of the codebase.

You will operate with significant autonomy and act as a trusted expert in your domain, with focus on desktop software development, Windows UI, and data formats like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of desktop software development experience.
• Experience with MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
• Proficiency in C (C14+).
• Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio 2019+.
• Familiarity with MFC for Windows UI development.
• Experience with XML and JSON data formats.

Requirements:
