Services Engineering Team Lead (Remote | Contract)

We are seeking a Services Engineering Team Lead to join a dynamic team working on cutting‑edge retail and payment systems. This is a remote contract role with an initial duration of 6+ months, offering the opportunity to lead a high‑impact engineering team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lead a team of engineers in delivering scalable, high‑performance solutions.
• Drive sprint planning, story creation, and task management using Jira.
• Collaborate across teams to identify solutions, resolve conflicts, and accelerate delivery.
• Foster a positive and productive team culture, mentoring and motivating team members.
• Oversee deployment processes and provide production support.
• Strong experience with GCP Cloud, Spring Boot, and Ember.js.
• Deep understanding of Retail and Payment systems.
• Hands‑on experience with APM and Log Management tools such as Grafana, New Relic, and Quantum Metric.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• 5+ years of experience in the retail domain.
• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.
• Skilled in Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Extroverted personality with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
