Job summary

Recorded Future, Inc. is seeking engineers to extend our data processing capabilities to deliver rich malware reports through static and dynamic analysis, and to build scalable tools and infrastructure for running hundreds of thousands of VMs and TBs of data per hour.

You will develop web services for Sandbox usage and build OS/hypervisor analysis tooling (Windows, Unix, Android, QEMU). Ideal candidates bring Go or similar language, Linux experience, and a track record of high-quality software,

What You'll Do:

• Extend our data processing capabilities to provide rich reports on malware through static and dynamic analysis.
• Build tools and infrastructure to run our diverse workloads. You'llbe managing over 10PB of data, running millions of VMs a day, and processingTBs of data every hour.
• Build web services to help our users effectively use Sandbox.
• Build tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors for malware analysis. (Windows, Unix, Android, QEMU etc.)

Team members often specialize in one or more of these topics.

What You'll Bring:

• You are capable of working asynchronously in a distributed team.
• You are self-driven and proactive: you contribute ideas that shape where we go, and take the initiative on technical work that needs doing.
• You have experience with Go (or potentially another strongly typed back-end language like Java, C#, C++).
• You have experience with Linux.
• You have a track record of building high-quality software (proven through past experience, projects or contributions).
• You can automate repetitive tasks.
