Job summary

Constellation seeks a Lead Software Architect to own end-to-end technical product delivery across automation and full-stack development initiatives. This role guides architecture, directs engineering workstreams, and ensures solutions meet client mission needs and program objectives.

You will translate requirements into scalable designs, oversee React/Spring Boot web apps and Python data/ETL processes, and act as the primary technical authority in client engagements to ensure delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture with React front-end and Java/Spring back-end.
• Experience delivering scalable cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure) and leading web aplikations or automations.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring on code reviews and design.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to influence technical decisions.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, React component design, and secure web practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience); U.S. citizenship and client clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight and technical direction for full-stack applications (React, Spring Boot) and Python automations.
• Translate client requirements into clear designs; lead sessions and define system architecture.
• Interface with stakeholders, present solutions, and guide decision-making.
