Job summary

Constellation Inc. seeks a Lead Software Architect to own end-to-end technical delivery across automation and full-stack initiatives in hybrid Washington, DC. You will guide architecture, direct workstreams, and ensure scalable, secure solutions for client missions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, with React and Java/Spring, cloud delivery (AWS/Azure), strong leadership, and excellent client-facing communication. DOE/clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution architecture.
• Experience with React frontend and Java/Spring backend or similar.
• Experience delivering cloud-based (AWS/Azure) solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring.
• Strong client-facing communication and decision-making.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, React component design and secure development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent).
• U.S. citizen able to pass background; DHS/DoD clearance preferred.
