Filevine is seeking a Lead Architect to bridge complex system design and strategic leadership for mission-critical production systems. You will scale a mature platform while serving as a servant-leader and mentor within an elite engineering culture.

You will drive architectural strategy, modernize legacy systems, and translate business needs into technical designs. Expect collaboration with Product, Security, Finance, and Engineering teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems with practical lessons learned.
• Advanced proficiency in high-level service design and scalable interfaces.
• Deep working knowledge of data persistence layers and technology tradeoffs.
• Significant AWS experience and architectural oversight across regions.

Responsibilities

• Architectural strategy for high-scale, production systems that are modular and extensible.
• Modernize legacy systems toward target-state architectures.
• Translate business needs to technical designs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Create clear technical documentation and complex system diagrams.
