The role coordinates engineering, tooling, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and customer teams, driving tool readiness, production startup and ramp-up, with strong emphasis on project management and hands-on tooling expertise in interior trim systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive tooling, manufacturing engineering, or program management.
• Experience supporting tooling programs through validation, launch, and production startup.
• Strong customer-facing communication and project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Soft Trim tooling programs from customer award through production launch and stabilization.
• Develop detailed project timing plans, milestones, launch schedules, and risk assessments.
• Serve as primary customer contact for program activities and updates.
• Coordinate reviews and cross-functional launch readiness meetings.
• Track deliverables, changes, issues, and timing risks for proactive resolution.
• Ensure adherence to APQP/PPAP and launch requirements.
• Drive accountability for timing, budget, and deliverables.
