Job summary

Mold-Tech Engraving in Maumee, OH, is seeking a Program/Project Engineer to lead Soft Trim tooling programs from award through manufacturing startup. This role acts as the primary technical and program management leader, coordinating across engineering, tooling, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of automotive tooling, manufacturing engineering, project engineering, program management, or launch support.
• Experience supporting tooling programs through validation, launch, and production startup.
• Strong customer-facing communication and project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Soft Trim tooling programs from award through production launch and stabilization.
• Develop and communicate detailed project timing, milestones, and risk assessments.
• Serve as primary customer contact for program activities and issue escalation.
• Coordinate reviews, status meetings, and launch readiness across functions.
• Track deliverables, changes, open issues, and timing risks for proactive resolution.
• Support APQP/PPAP and launch requirements as applicable.
• Drive accountability for timing, budget awareness, and deliverables.
