Job summary

Brown and Root External seeks a Soft Craft Foreman to supervise daily soft craft activities on industrial construction projects, including scaffolding, insulation, painting/coatings, fireproofing, and cleaning. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per specifications, while coordinating with QA/QC, HSE, and other crafts.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial soft craft with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of facility safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial soft craft experience with progressive supervisory responsibility.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, and work packages.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of soft craft crews.
• Plan manpower requirements and assign employees to specific work areas.
• Coordinate scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling when applicable.
• Oversee insulation installation/removal, painting/coatings, fireproofing, and cleaning activities.
• Maintain accurate daily manpower, production, and progress reports.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and productivity.
