Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Supervisory Social Worker and Program Manager for extended and specialty care services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical supervision for staff across programs including CADHC, SCI/D, VIST, CLC, and Medical Foster Home.

The role emphasizes policy development, quality improvement, and community partnerships, with travel within the VA system and related facilities. A CSWE-accredited MSW and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required.
• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensure as a social worker at the advanced practice level and eligible to supervise licensure.
• Demonstrated KSAs: organize work, supervise clinical practice, staff training, and quality improvement.
• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant social work area preferred.
• Frequent travel within VA catchment area; potential for up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team and oversee social work programs within geriatrics and extended care.
• Establish and maintain functional work relationships and coordinate program issues with other disciplines.
• Review veteran eligibility for CADHC program and coordinate Contract Adult Day Health Care.
• Develop, evaluate, and communicate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Liaise with CADHC providers and supervise staff; may serve as COR where applicable.
• Oversee program quality and coordinate community resources and partnerships.
