U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Tuskegee, AL seeks a Senior Social Worker (GS-12) to lead advanced social work practice within the Caregiver Support Program (CSP).

The role requires supervising staff, delivering complex psychosocial interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include caregiver outreach, education, home visits, and program development to improve veteran and caregiver well‑being; EDRP applicability may apply.

Formación

• Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensed or certified to independently practice social work at the advanced level.
• Two years of post-advanced practice experience; one year at GS-11 level.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with CSP team to provide comprehensive care to Veterans.
• Lead caregiver support groups and educational programs.
• Provide caregiver and family clinical interventions.
• Conduct regular home visits to Veterans and Caregivers.
• Develop educational tools and training for staff.
