Job summary

Pivotal, a nonprofit in San Jose, CA, seeks a Program Supervisor for Social Work Internships. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence required in or near San Jose.

You will lead the internship program, supervise BASW/MSW interns, coordinate training, and manage partnerships with universities and community partners. The role requires an MSW and at least two years post-graduate experience, with strong written and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required, two years post-graduation.
• Knowledge of the foster care system.
• Demonstrated commitment to educational equity.
• Superior presentation, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of the intern coaching program.
• Coordinate day-to-day program operations and cross-program initiatives.
• Develop and deliver the intern training manual and curriculum annually.
• Monitor timelines and outcomes to support implementation and improvement.
• Provide data, metrics, and analysis on scholar-intern relationships.
• Oversee annual intern recruitment and onboarding with HR.
