Responsibilities include leading the Social Services Department, overseeing Medicaid, completing MDS assessments, supporting admissions, and guiding staff. Daytime hours with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school or program of Social Work is required.
• Two years of postgraduate experience in long-term care or related programs.
• Must meet state requirements or hold NASW credentialing if the state has no regulation.
• 2+ years of social work and MDS assessment experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the overall operations of the Social Services Department
• Oversee the Medicaid process
• Complete MDS assessments and support the admissions process
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Social Services Department staff
• Work primarily during daytime hours, with occasional evening and weekend visits as needed
