Discovery Land Company is seeking a Lead Snow Cat Operator at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California, to groom and maintain slopes and supervise the grooming crew.

The ideal candidate has experience operating snowcats, supervisory background, and strong safety awareness; duties include training staff, ensuring safety, and coordinating nightly assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Experience operating snowcats or heavy equipment.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate snowcat grooming equipment to maintain smooth trails and surfaces.
• Provide day-to-day supervision to snowcat operators for safe, efficient grooming.
• Assist with training and onboarding of snowcat operators.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate nightly grooming assignments and communicate needs to maintenance.
• Follow established grooming patterns to achieve resort standards.
