Job summary
Daisy Central Colorado Mountains seeks a Smart Home Technician to install, configure, and maintain low‑voltage systems across residential and commercial projects. You will own programming, commissioning, system integration, and client handover using Control4, Lutron, and Crestron, with field and remote work.
You’ll lead setup, troubleshooting, and documentation, stay current with industry trends, and travel to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on programming experience with Control4 systems and AV integration.
- Understanding of networking pertinent to smart-home/automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and client-facing communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, configure, test, and commission Control4 automation systems.
- Hold and apply Lutron certification; manage lighting/shade control programming.
- Interface with clients, designers, and contractors to scope requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex automation, AV, shading, and networking issues.
- Create system documentation, backups, checklists, and handover materials.
- Participate in site setup, rack builds, cabling, and final handover.
- Maintain remote access, monitoring, and service protocols.
- Stay updated on smart home trends and best practices.
- Adhere to safety, professionalism, and client satisfaction standards.
