United Health Services (UHS) Sleep and Neurodiagnostic Center is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to perform diagnostic testing and integrate anatomy and physiology with sleep/wake pathology. Strong communication and vigilance are essential for patient education, safety, and coordinating with physicians.

The role includes night rotation, a 40-hour week, and requires NYS licensure eligibility or registration as a polysomnographic technologist or respiratory therapist.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication skills for patient education, safety and comfort and for discussing patient and clinical situations with physicians.
• Attention to detail is critical since data quality is the responsibility of the technologist.
• Must be able to assimilate data from several sources and anticipate initiation of care per protocols.
