Job summary

United Health Services, Inc. (UHS) Sleep and Neurodiagnostic Center is seeking a polysomnographic technologist for night rotation in New York's Southern Tier.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostic testing, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Polysomnography or is eligible for NYS licensure, with CPR certification soon after start date, and at least five years of polysomnography tech

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for patient education and physician discussions.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality polysomnography data.
• Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergencies and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic diagnostic testing with anatomy/physiology knowledge.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and escalate to physician when needed.
• Maintain vigilance in a non-stimulating environment and ensure patient safety.
