Job summary

JBS USA in Colorado is seeking a Slaughter Department Supervisor to manage the staff and daily production for the kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas.

You will report to the Slaughter General Foreman, supervise on all kill floor operations, measure yields and downtime, enforce safety and regulatory compliance with USDA inspectors, and support department goals while overseeing discipline and turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience on all areas of the kill floor, offal, and variety products.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Expertise in kill floor regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in the kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas as well as government statutes, laws and regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Manage daily production in kill floor, offal, variety by products, and feet areas
• Measure and report daily yields and downtime
• Responsible for associates discipline and turnover
• Ability to communicate with USDA inspectors
• Monitor and implement the department goals
